Projeto iniciado após o carnaval de 2018 como resposta a uma onda de censura e conservadorismo que já vinha tomando corpo no Brasil.
"Encerrada a semana de festas ouvia-se por toda parte criticas generalizadas entre diferentes faixas etárias a respeito da liberdade com o próprio corpo e com o corpo alheio."
O projeto começou a tomar corpo com duas imagens em preto e branco tiradas de forma caseira com um Iphone e logo depois editadas com Photoshop.
O projeto tem o intuito de eliminar o tabu e também o símbolismo sexual das partes íntimas do corpo, por isso a criação da palavra "des-ta-bu-zando".
Construído em cima do numero três que representa a expressão, a comunicação, a criação. É o produto da união de 1 e 2. Na espiritualidade, o número três é visto como o poder da unidade entre a mente, corpo e espírito.
Sendo assim, cada figura final é composta por três imagens (frente + costas = projeto final), materializada por 30 mulheres com o ciclo sempre fechando no numero 3.
Project started after the carnival of 2018 in response to a wave of censorship and conservatism that had been taking shape in Brazil.
"After the closing of one week of celebrations critics were heard everywhere among different ages and groups regarding the freedom with its own body and the body of others."
The project began to take shape with two black and white images taken in a homemade way with an Iphone and edited with Photoshop.
The project aims to eliminate the taboo and also the sexual symbolism of the intimate parts of the body therefore generating the word "des-ta-bu-zando".
Built on top of number three representing expression, communication, creation. It is the product of union of 1 and 2. In spirituality, number three is seen as the power of unity between mind, body and spirit.
Thus, each final figure is composed of three images (front + back = final design), materialized by 30 women with the cycle always closing in the number 3.
